Sub‑Processors

StorifyMe uses certain sub-processors to assist in providing the services as described in the agreement between customer and StorifyMe. This sub-processor page includes information about the identity, location, and role of each sub-processor. Defined terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the agreement.

What is a sub-processor?

A sub-processor is a third party engaged by StorifyMe—including entities from within the corporate structure of StorifyMe—that (potentially) have access to personal data to perform some of StorifyMe’s obligations under the agreement; e.g., to assist with infrastructure services, content delivery networks, or customer support. Before engaging any sub-processors, StorifyMe performs intakes to evaluate their privacy, security and confidentiality practices and executes agreements implementing applicable obligations.

Sub-processors necessarily used in the StorifyMe Services or in support thereof:

Amazon Web Services

• Entity Name: Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL - 38 Avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855, Luxembourg
• Location: Luxembourg. Server locations: EU [primary region is AWS Frankfurt (eu-central-1)]
• Type: Cloud infrastructure services.
• Purpose: Hosting and operation of the StorifyMe platform including compute resources, managed databases, storage, networking, and security services
• Lawful data transfer mechanism: As between StorifyMe and AWS EMEA, personal data is hosted within EU regions and subject to applicable data protection agreements.

ClickHouse

• Entity Name: ClickHouse Inc. – 228 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94301, USA
• Location: United States. Server locations: European Union (primary region: AWS Frankfurt – eu-central-1)
• Type: Managed analytics database service (ClickHouse Cloud)
• Purpose: Storage and processing of platform analytics and event data generated by the StorifyMe services
• Lawful data transfer mechanism: Data is hosted within EU infrastructure regions. Transfers are governed by applicable data processing agreements and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.

Cloudflare

• Entity Name: Cloudflare, Inc. – 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA
• Location: United States. Server locations: Global (including EU data centers)
• Type: Content delivery network (CDN), web application firewall (WAF), and DDoS protection
• Purpose: Secure delivery and performance optimization of the StorifyMe platform and customer content
• Lawful data transfer mechanism: Transfers outside the European Economic Area are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses and applicable data protection safeguards.

* Note that CDNs will cache data/content globally depending on the location where the Customer Content is consumed in order to ensure fast delivery to the endpoint.

Intercom

• Intercom R&D Unlimited Company - 2nd Floor, Stephen Court, 18-21 St. Stephen’s Green, Dublin 2, Ireland
• Location: Ireland / United States
• Type: Customer support and communication platform
• Purpose: Communication and support interactions with platform administrators and customer representatives
• Lawful data transfer mechanism: Transfers outside the European Economic Area are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses and applicable data protection safeguards.

Sentry

• Sentry - 45 Fremont Street, 8th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94105
• Location: Frankfurt, Germany
• Type: Application monitoring and error tracking
• Purpose: Monitoring of application errors and technical diagnostics to maintain and improve the reliability of the StorifyMe platform
• Lawful data transfer mechanism: Transfers outside the European Economic Area are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses and applicable data protection safeguards.

Stripe

• Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. – The One Building, 1 Lower Grand Canal Street, Dublin 2, Ireland
• Location: Ireland / Global
• Type: Payment processing services
• Purpose: Processing subscription billing and payment transactions for StorifyMe services
• Lawful data transfer mechanism: Transfers outside the European Economic Area are governed by Standard Contractual Clauses and applicable data protection safeguards.

As StorifyMe is continuously improving its product(s), the sub-processors used may also change. StorifyMe will promptly update this page with any new or replacement sub-processors and notify customers before, and how, such sub-processors will process personal data.
