AI Provider Choice, Auto-Generated Video Posters, and Mobile SDK Improvements
June 4, 2026
With the latest release, we made StorifyMe more flexible for AI-powered content creation, improved how video posters are generated and edited, and strengthened mobile SDK performance across iOS, Android, Flutter, and React Native.
From choosing between OpenAI and Gemini to creating more engaging Story previews and delivering smoother in-app experiences, these updates help your team create, publish, and optimize Stories and Shorts with less friction.
Choose the AI Provider That Fits Your Workflow
Teams can now use Google Gemini alongside OpenAI for AI-powered content generation in StorifyMe. This gives you more flexibility when creating Stories and Shorts, especially if your team wants to compare outputs, optimize for different languages, or choose the AI provider that best fits each content task.
AI Provider Picker in the Editor
You can now switch between OpenAI and Gemini directly inside the editor. No need to leave your workflow or adjust settings elsewhere. Choose the provider, generate content, compare the results, and continue editing in the same place.
Why this matters:
- More flexibility in AI-assisted content creation
- Better support for different tones, languages, and workflows
- Less dependency on a single AI provider
- Faster testing and comparison inside the editor
Auto-Generated Video Posters
Stories can now generate video posters automatically. Instead of using only static thumbnails, your Stories can show animated previews directly in the widget, helping users understand the content before they tap. This makes Story previews feel more dynamic, engaging, and native to the viewing experience.

Video Trimming and Resizing
You can now trim and resize poster videos directly in the editor. Choose the best moment, adjust the format, and prepare a stronger video preview without using external video editing tools.
Why this matters:
- Save time when preparing Story previews
- Make widgets more visually engaging
- Reduce the need for third-party editing tools
- Keep video-first content creation inside StorifyMe
More Control Over Story Animations
With Animations V3, you can now create more dynamic Story experiences with typewriter effects, fade-ins, and custom timing. This gives content teams more creative control when highlighting key messages, CTAs, offers, or campaign moments.
Text Background Styling
Text elements can now include configurable backgrounds, opacity, blur, and color. This helps keep text readable on busy images or videos while still matching your brand style.
Why this matters:
- Better readability across different visuals
- More polished Story designs
- Fewer manual design adjustments
- More control over how messages appear on screen
Snaps Editing on Mobile
Users can now create and edit Snaps content through the mobile app. This makes it easier for more team members to contribute content on the go, without waiting for desktop access or relying only on one content creator.
Why this matters:
- Faster Snaps creation
- Easier content contribution from mobile teams
- More flexibility for real-time or field content
- Fewer bottlenecks in the content workflow
Better Horizontal Scrolling in Flutter
Flutter now includes a new prioritizeHorizontalScrolling parameter. This helps solve swipe conflicts when Stories are embedded inside vertical scroll layouts, making the experience feel smoother and more natural inside mobile apps.
Mobile Experience Improvements
Better iOS Ad Handling
Preloaded ads are now handled more reliably in iOS SDK 2.6.5. If an ad fails to preload, it will be removed before users reach it, helping prevent blank Story slots or error screens.
Improved Android Widget Stability
Android SDK 2.7.2 includes better widget media loading and improved stability across Story sequences.
Flutter SDK Feature Parity
Flutter SDK 2.6.2 now includes the latest iOS SDK 2.6.5 and Android SDK 2.7.2 updates, helping teams keep a more consistent experience across platforms.
Mobile Iframe Optimization
We reduced iframe usage on iPhones to improve memory usage and support faster loading.
Tracking and Product Communication Improvements
Shorts Seen State Tracking
Analytics can now track which Shorts viewers have already watched, bringing Shorts tracking closer to the Stories experience.
Improved Release Notes Display
We improved the in-app release notes experience, making it easier to show product updates to users.
Platform Reliability and Maintenance Improvements
